Charlie (Won Ho) Hong

Charlie Hong is a Partner in Shanghai Office. He is focusing in the areas of consumer products including on/off line media, advertisement, retail, alternative energy, healthcare and franchises. He is actively engaged in Tudou, Seven Media, Il Mare, Sino-Forest, Palm Commerce, China Retail Concepts and Carling Technology (Gushan Environmental Energy) among KTB’s current portfolio companies. His exited portfolios include Focus Media (Nasdaq), Paradise China (Acquired by HKSE listed GOME), Havit Informations (Kosdaq) and Itest (acquired by Kosdaq listed From30). Prior to KTB, Charlie had been a Chief Dealer for Korea Long-term Credit Bank (KLTCB)’s fixed income desk where he was responsible for a portfolio size of USD 700 million of fixed income investment and trading. Prior to that, he was chief dealer for government bonds and options trading at KLTCB’s London office. He received a BA in Business Administration from Sogang University in Korea and speaks fluent Korean and English.
