Bum Soo Kim

Bum Soo Kim is a Principal of KTB Ventures. He focuses on investments in wireless communications, consumer electronics, and Internet media & services. He led the investment in Magnum Semiconductor and was most closely involved with investments in Nuelight, Beceem, Polyfuel, Inphi, Bitfone, Airespace, Berkana Wireless, Rosum, and Novera Optics. Prior to joining KTB Ventures, he was responsible for international investments at KTB in Seoul, having led investments in companies focused primarily on worldwide markets, including iTest Holdings and iCablesystem. He brings market and business development expertise from his investing experience with KTB, along with a successful prior track record in customer engagements and business development in the IT sector at Samsung Corporation. Leveraging his operating experience at Samsung, he co-founded and managed R&K International, a company specializing in delivering next-generation IT products to the global markets. He received a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Yonsei University.
